Based in the old port of Portland, Maine, I opened J’Accents in October 2007. My unique vision is to help you freshen and rejuvenate your dining scene. Do you ever wonder what to with those floral plates given to you by your grandmother, or that depression era glass from Aunt Martha?  J’Accents strives to give you the opportunity for blending these timeless classics with modern and inspiring pieces, revitalizing the tablescape in your kitchen or dining area.

My inspiration for J’Accents stemmed from a life-long joy of entertaining friends in a welcoming environment. I’ve always loved experimenting with colors and designs - both modern and antique - and I feel that a comfortable but elegant setting goes a long way towards creating that perfect and warm meal-time ambience. With this in mind I opened J’Accents, enabling you to re-enjoy using those old plates alongisde bright, modern pieces. Of course, if you really feel like a table makeover, we can work together to create a whole new tablescape!

This website gives you a flavor of what J’Accents offers, but I encourage you to stop by my store on Free Street, as photos only tell so much of the story. You are welcome to bring your own china and linens with you and together we’ll find a way to rejuvenate and refresh them!
